She has professional experience spanning 25 years in a variety of treatment settings, including hospitals, private clinics, and public schools.
In addition, she provides social/pragmatic language skill assessment and treatment, both individually and/or in groups. She provides traditional speech and language services to children and adults, including assessment and treatment of oral expression, language processing, and written language skills. Champlin’s interest in the overlap of mental and physical health was the motivation to seek out a dual training program.Īmanda Conrad, MA, CCC-SLP is a speech/language pathologist who has provides consultation services to The Affinity Center staff and clients. Champlin attended Duke University for his Bachelor’s degree then on to Wright State University where he earned his Doctorate in Medicine. Barber’s clinical interest include mood and anxiety disorders, life transitions, interpersonal relationships, and using mindfulness to improve balance in life. Mainly, she has worked in college mental health settings, but has experience working in school settings, and community mental health. She has trained in a variety of outpatient settings and worked primarily with adolescents and adults. Brittany Barber, PhD obtained her Doctor of Psychology degree from the University of the Cumberlands in 2018, completed her pre-doctoral training at the University of Cincinnati, and post-doctoral training at UC Health University Health Services.
